The Lydden Thunder 650 will be making its second appearance on the Lydden Hill calendar, celebrating some of the best oval racing has to offer with racing from the Kent Outlaw Oval Club, National Outlaws, European Late Model ASCAR Series, ProGrand UK series, and more!
The Kent Outlaws are regular visitors to the circuit, with Lydden Hill as their home track – making use of the fastest oval in the UK! They bring several formulas to the event, offering a unique brand of exciting, close-quarters racing that often flies under the radar.
The European Late Model Series is a returning favourite from the Custom Cup of years gone by. Running powerful V8 ASCAR machines (similar to American NASCARs), these drivers will race the oval in the opposite direction to everyone else, adding a fresh dynamic and serious pace to the day.
We’re also excited to welcome the ProGrand UK Series, running demonstration races throughout the event. These purpose-built machines are designed for oval performance and could be a more regular feature at Lydden in 2025.

The prices for the event are;
Adults Online
Sunday: £12.00 + 0.57p Booking fee
Monday: £12.00 + 0.57p Booking fee
Weekend (Sunday & Monday): £20 + Booking fee
Weekend camping: £15 + Booking fee (Entry from 12pm Saturday, need to leave 9pm Monday.
This includes entry to beer tent and band in the evening)
