COMPLAINTS PRODEDURE
Rumours of cheating can create bad feeling between drivers and have a detrimental effect on a formula,
It has become necessary to produce a complaint procedure for all formulas.
Obviously,if you think another driver is breaking a formula rule, the best and easiest way is to ask the driver but if you feel you unable to talk to the driver or
If you do not receive a satisfactory answer, the next step would be to speak to the formula rep,he may have more info on the situation or may know that someone has already made a simular complaint.
If you do not receive a satisfactory answer you must then decide if you want to lodge an official complaint.
LODGING AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT
This will be done via a link on our website. The complainant will pay a fee of a minimum of £250,depending on estimated costs of investigation and reinstating the car if found to be legal, this will be confirmed before action is taken,He must inform us of what rule is being broken and how.myself and the race steward will then decide if there is a legitimate cause for complaint.if we think that there is a legitimate case we will instruct an independent engineer to investigate the complaint and report to our race steward.
If the complainant is found to be incorrect his money will not be returned.
If the complainant is found to be correct his money will be refunded.
If the driver is found to have broken a formula rule through the official complaints procedure,he will be fined a minimum of £250 and may have points deducted and may be excluded from further meetings.
