Minirods are a budget formula and the rules are written with that in mind
If you are modifying your car to seek an advantage it is probably not allowed,if you are modifying your car to improve safety it is probably allowed,

Where new mounting points are created in the vehicle, they should each be reinforced with steel counter plates.
It is strongly recommended that Motorsport UK recommendations are followed for the installation of your harness – see K2.1 to K2.1.11 in the 2023 Motorsport UK yearbook available online.
Regular checks and maintenance should be performed throughout the life of the harness and seat to ensure it remains in a good and safe condition.

All welding should be of the highest possible quality with full penetration and preferably using a gas shielded arc. Minimum dimensions of material used should be 45 x 2.5 (1.75” x 0.095”)
It is strongly recommend that Motorsport UK recommendations are followed for the installation of your roll cage – See K1 to K1.8 in the 2023 Motorsport UK year book available online.
Noise
The noise limit for Lydden Hill is 100dB static and will be tested at a steady 5000rpm.
I would like all newly built minirods to have a maximum of 90db but this is optional at the moment.
A fully functional, and accurate rev counter is a requirement for noise testing, vehicles without a rev counter will automatically fail static noise testing and won’t be permitted on the circuit until remedial action has been taken.
Cars will not be permitted to race unless they pass the static noise test.
Noise is monitored throughout the event through the use of ‘drive by’ and circuit perimeter monitoring. Any excessively noisy vehicle will be black flagged and removed from the track until corrective action has been taken. If the vehicle fails to meet the noise test requirements and the driver is no longer able to participate in the event, KOOR will not be liable for providing a refund. The same applies if the vehicle suffers mechanical issues and limits or prevents participation.
POST RACE INSPECTION
After the finals the top 4 cars must go straight to the inspection area to be checked, also we may call any random car for inspection after the final, you will be notified by your race receiver to go to the inspection area, any car failed the post race checks will be removed from the points, any driver failing to go straight to inspection area will be removed from the points,
At the inspection area we will check some of the following
